Who We Are
We are a Des Moines based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We recently completed our first project in Gambella, Ethiopia, and donated 10,000 undergarments to women and girls living there. We're currently working on supporting our home community of Des Moines and finding ways to continue supporting women and girls in Gambella, Ethiopia.
Our Mission
We’re working to bring personal care products to women and girls who need them. Through support, advocacy and research, we aim to uplift women and girls in both domestic and international communities and create a positive impact in the places we reach.
How Do We Define Personal Care?
We define personal care as items that help improve a person’s physical health or appearance. Examples of personal care products include but are not limited to menstruation products, undergarments, shampoo, skin moisturizers, lip treatments, deodorants, antiperspirants, makeup, perfume, sunscreen, and more.
